INSTRUCTIONS FOR PURCHASING A PRIVATE EVENT INSURANCE POLICY
Apply for this insurance as a BROKER:
For Fireman’s Fund Brokers begin on www.rvnuccio.com
For all other Insurance Brokers begin on www.nasep.org

  1. Click on Wedding Insurance.
  2. Click on the Quote/Buy/Print button for Brokers.
  3. You will be taken to our home page to register or sign in.
    • If your agency has never purchased a policy with us before, click the Self Register Here link in the new window. By clicking on Self Register Here, you are registering your agency with us by filling out your agency’s information and creating a username and password.
    • For Existing Clients enter your agency’s username and password to continue and skip to step 6.
  4. In addition to creating a username and password, you will need to input information about yourself and your agency.
  5. Once you have filled out the registration form, read the broker agreement.
  6. If you accept the broker agreement, click on the Submit button.
  7. In the new window, click on Quote/Apply in order to create a new application.
  8. In the application, complete the first page with your client’s information and the coverages they would like to purchase.
  9. Click on Next at the bottom of the screen.
  10. A free quote will be displayed giving you an indication of how much the insurance will cost.
  11. After you receive payment from your client, complete and submit the application. This will bind the coverage and allow you to print all of the insurance documents your client will need for his/her event immediately, by clicking Print.
  12. Click on home and select the approved application. Go under View/Print and click on Invoice Document and click print.
  13. A Net Agency check must be received by our office within ten days along with a copy of your invoice in order for coverage to remain in place.

Note:  Coverage will begin at 12:01am of the date that you select for your start date. Also, coverage can only be bound within 12 hours before the event starts.

 

To Complete an Application That Has Already Been Started:

  1. Log into the system using your username and password.
  2. Click on the application you wish to enter into and then click EDIT. You will have access to change any previous information and purchase the insurance by doing this.

To Add an Additional Insured or Change the Facility's Information Once the Policy has been Purchased:

  1. Log into the system using your username and password.
  2. Click on the application you wish to enter into and then click EDIT.
  3. In order to add an additional insured, simply go to that page and select the appropriate location that is requiring you to add them to your policy (i.e., the rehearsal site, the rehearsal dinner site, the ceremony site, the reception/party site). If there is some other entity requesting to be named on your policy, check the box and enter the required information.
  4. Click on Next after you have selected who you want to name as additional insured to complete the endorsement and print out your endorsement documents.
